Alison Wintgens
Alison Wintgens is a speech and language therapist. Having worked for many years as a consultant SLT in the Department of Child and Adolescent Mental Health at St. George's Hospital, London, she has extensive experience of children and adolescents with a range of communication disorders and additional behavioural or mental health problems. Now she continues to write and teach, and is the advisor on selective mutism to the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. She has published extensively in the field of speech and language therapy and been an advisor to the Selective Mutism Information and Research Association.
