Cecelia Boswell

Cecelia Boswell, Ed.D., is an educator who hasĀ 40 years of experience in Texas education. She has worked with children from kindergarten through grade 12 as a teacher of migrant and gifted children and as a coach for UIL literary events. She has coordinated migrant services, ESL, bilingual, and gifted education.

Dr. Boswell served as the language arts and advanced academics consultant for Education Service Center Region 14 in Abilene and as the state director for AP/IB Projects. Under her leadership, The Small Schools Guide for Quality Gifted Services, AP Task Force research, and 20 AP/IB Projects across the state were developed.

Today, Dr. Boswell is an independent consultant and founder of Austin Creek Educational Systems. She is working throughout Texas with schools and ESCs, writing online courses for Texas Education Agency, consulting for the Florida Department of Education, and working on projects for TEA.
