Ceri Williams

Born in Usk, South Wales, Ceri has taught across primary and secondary phases in both mainstream and special schools. He works in the special needs sector in South Wales. His awards include a Microsoft Innovative Teacher Award, an NGFL-Cymru/Microsoft Innovative Teacher Award and The NAACE Impact Award for Inclusion.

Ceri studied music at The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and education at Birmingham University, initially teaching class music. After relocating back to Wales, he began teaching in the special needs sector, completing a Masters in SEN in 2005 at the University of Newport.

He has presented several papers outlining his work in Multimedia Multisensory Environments at international conferences which have been published in academic journals. As well his interests in education, he still performs frequently as a musician.
