Eric Goodman, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, author, and speaker who specialises in helping people face their social fears and anxiety disorders. In addition to his private practice in San Luis Obispo, California, he runs Social Courage groups and retreats.
He earned his Ph.D. at Northeastern University in Boston and taught there as an adjunct faculty member. His primary treatment approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy with an emphasis on exposure with response-prevention (ERP) integrated with mindfulness, acceptance, and compassion-based Strategies.
