Dr. Kelly Farquharson is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University. She is the Director of the Children's Literacy and Speech Sound (CLaSS) Lab, which has a mission to help children with speech and language impairments achieve classroom success. A related line of work focuses on implementation science, specifically for school-based SLPs who work with children who have difficulties with speech, language, reading, and spelling.
Dr. Farquharson is the Editor-in-Chief for Language Speech and Hearing Services in Schools and an ASHA Fellow. In 2020, she received the Katherine G. Butler Trailblazer Award for a co-authored publication in Topics in Language Disorders.
