Mary Anne Richey, M.Ed., is a licensed school psychologist with degrees from Virginia Tech and Florida Atlantic University. In 2012, she was named Florida School Psychologist of the Year. She worked for the school district of Palm Beach County and now maintains a private practice. She also has experience as a middle school teacher, administrator, high school guidance counselor, and adjunct college instructor. She has been a featured speaker at many national and international conferences. It has been Mary Anne’s pleasure to assist many students with ADHD and their families over the years.
In addition to Raising Boys With ADHD, she has coauthored four other books, which include Raising Girls With ADHD, named as one of the Eight Great Books on ADHD by Book Riot and as one the Best ADHD Books of All Time by Book Authority; The Impulsive, Disorganized Child; Stressed Out!, named the 2018 Book of the Year in the parent category by the National Association of Gifted Children; and The ADHD Empowerment Guide.
Mary Anne helps parents manage the issues they face and incorporates strategies to help their children succeed in school and life. She shares an integrated perspective on ADHD based on her experience as a parent and professional, her academic research, and her interactions with so many other parents raising kids with ADHD.
