Dr Norman Erber is Honorary Principal Fellow / Associate Professor at Melbourne Graduate School of Education. He is an author, lecturer and consultant in hearing, vision and communication for children and adults. Dr Erber is a developer of communication assessment and training methods including GASP!, QUEST?AR, Situ-Action, DYALOG, and Word-X. He is also the creator of the HELOS hearing-loss simulator.
Dr. Erber has published over 95 articles on impaired hearing and vision in children and adults and 9 textbooks on communication and rehabilitation. His current interests include narrative recall and how children learn from "screen time".
