Paul Stallard
Dr Paul Stallard is Professor of Child and Family Mental Health at the University of Bath and Head of Psychological Therapies (CAMHS) for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. After graduating as a clinical psychologist from Birmingham University in 1980, he worked with children and young people in the West Midlands before moving to the Department of Child and Family Psychiatry, Bath, in 1988. His research interests include the effects of trauma and chronic illness on children. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers and led a research trial exploring the use of cognitive behaviour therapy in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorders. Paul has contributed to the development of CBT in many countries and has provided workshops for clinicians around the world.
