Bjorem Speech Cluster Cues can be used to help children correctly say and sequence words containing consonant clusters. By using a train metaphor and assigning different parts of the cluster to part of the train, children can “see” what sound they need to make and where. The cards can be lined up next to one another to provide a visual cue about how they need to join their sounds together in words. Use the cards for children with motor planning/childhood apraxia, phonological patterns such as cluster reduction, teach coarticulation and the ‘h’ insertion tricks, and support early literacy and phonological awareness skills.
Cards: 65mm x 65mm - thick soft matte texture card, not shiny or laminated so children with vision impairments do not get the glare.
