Dandelion Readers, Level 4 introduce more complex spellings for vowels & consonants and suffixes.

The workbook complements the sets of books - the fourteen chapters correspond to the 14 books in the set, offering phonic work within the context of the stories. The Spiral-bound workbook of photocopiable, multisensory activities includes blending, segmenting, spelling, comprehension and reading games with alternative spellings for each phoneme, common suffixes and alternative sounds for 'c' and 'g' and common Latin suffixes. They can be used in mainstream class settings, for group work or individual tuition.

The workbook is linked to the stories in the books making the activities relevant and contextual. Some activities should be introduced before reading the books and others, such as comprehension, should be introduced after reading the books.
