This colourful catch-up series provides 18 books for struggling readers with interest ages of 10 - 14.
The series is structured in levels, offering a progressive reading programme to develop reading skills, although each title can also be used as an individual read.
Each level in Reading Stars Plus currently has three titles. They include a mixture of fiction and non-fiction titles , covering a wide range of topics and genres.
Reading Stars Plus Book Band Pack contains eighteen books from the structured reading programme. These titles make up the six Book Band levels that follow the Phonics levels in the programme.
Reading Stars Plus is designed to support slightly older children who have fallen behind, following the same structure as Reading Stars, but focussing on the ten lowest levels where the need for books of this type is greatest. Though maintaining a low reading level, this fresh and modern series has an interest age of 9-13 years, featuring strong illustrations as well as age appropriate topics and stories which are multicultural and inclusive.
