Dandelion Launchers Series

The Dandelion Launchers are a phonic book series for beginner readers:

• a carefully structured progression through each stage
• reading material aimed at children aged 4-7
• each book introduces only a few letter/sounds at a time allowing independent reading from the outset
four books in each unit provide practice whilst offering different stories
• each unit introduces new letters/sounds while revising previously taught phonic letters/sounds and high-frequency or sight words
• Reading and Writing Activity books are also available to accompany each set of books

Each book within this series contains:

• a 'How to Use This Book' guidance page which includes information about the new sounds introduced and high-frequency words.
• engaging and entertaining story.
• a game to reinforce the skills learned throughout the book.

What is phonics?
