This collection of 48 beautifully illustrated cards are designed as a practical and creative tool to help children understand their emotional literacy. The cards bring to life two central characters, a little girl and boy who share and express a range of intensive feelings, both practical and difficult, brought to life through visual metaphor.
Following the characters' range of expressions, children are encouraged to recognise and explore emotions in safe ways. Cards can be used in different ways; children can be invited to choose a card to match how they feel, or create their own stories about characters. In stepping into different scenes, children can develop empathy, both for others and themselves.
