START on Time!

START on Time! is a comprehensive multimedia program to guide your school through the process of designing a proactive and positive plan for improving transitions and reducing tardiness.

Helps high school administrators and staff improve student behaviour in hallways & passing periods, directly improving school climate. All staff work together to increase the level of coordinated hallway supervision to help establish and maintain a more civil and academic environment in your building.

The program includes video lectures by Dr. Randy Sprick, video demonstration vignettes, reproducible study guides, and tools for collecting and using data: everything your school improvement team or discipline committee needs to plan and provide staff training. The 2nd edition contains updated and revised video and print content.

Anticipated outcomes from implementing START on Time! include:

• Reduce frequency of tardiness by up to 90%
• Increase instructional time previously lost to tardiness
• Increase hallway safety and improve school climate
• Increase positive interactions between staff and students
• Data-based decision making regarding behaviour and discipline practices
