Each of the reproducible picture scenes in this book is accompanied by a humorous story starter. The student's task is to retell each story and to add an ending. The following sounds are targeted in the initial and final position of words: /ch/, /d/, /f/, /g/, /k/, /l/, /p/ /r/, /s/, /t/, /th/, and /v/. Stridency deletion, final consonant deletion, velar fronting, and other phonological processes are targeted.
The activities in Part 1 each include reproducible pictures that are used in conjunction with a story starter. Students retell the story and then add additional information to complete the story. Encourage students to be original as they tell their stories.
Part 2 includes pictures and story starters for remediating stridency deletion, final consonant deletion, velar fronting, and cluster reduction.
The activities can be used both to improve articulation and language skills. Great for home practice!
