Unlike Rob's real dad who fixed cars all day, his mum's new partner is a good dad, but he sometimes forgets to attend to practical issues. So when the car runs out of petrol on a deserted forest road on a snowy winter's night, Rob ends up alone in the car. The first alien who cuts his way into the car is rubber-man Zeek who is running away from his captors, the robot crabs. Rob and Zeek must find a way to escape the metal nippers of the crabs. The invaders say they are hungry, but can a robot really feel hunger, and can it really eat?
