A strong wind blows for days, and when it stops, strange eggs fall from the sky. The little lizards that hatch grow to become vicious. Max, his parents and friend Hardy go to a beach shack to escape them. When the lizards appear at the bay, they have grown even bigger, and can fly. Max and Hardy, trapped at the end of a long jetty, must swim for their lives to avoid the creatures. Exhausted from his swim, and needing to care for Hardy who has been bitten by jelly fish, Max then has to do battle with the lizards to save them both. And when they think all danger has passed, a new creature appears.
